So excited for our upcoming trip to the Carolinas!! But before that, we get a mini-vacay to the Chicago area for a couple days next week while Erik has some business down there. I have plans for the kids and I to enjoy a quaint little zoo in Wheaton and there's always the abundant parks to keep us busy. Of course we'll have dinner at Giordano's for their totally awesome and completely un-healthy deep dish pizza!!! It's a requirement when one visits Chi-town, ya know!! ;)
Then on the 25th, we'll pack the van up- wait...did I say v a n?? Yep...sure did...also a requirement when you have 3 kids and 3 booster/carseats. Anyway...we'll pack up the van and head for Hickory NC to visit with Erik's family. There's a fun family cookout planned along w/ just enjoying our precious time with them!
On July 2nd we will load up again and head south to Myrtle Beach to spend the week w/ my family!! We love our beach week and have been looking forward to it since we left last year. (at least I have...) Lots planned besides the usual pool/beach/lazy river activities...we're also gonna see a few movies, play mini-golf as much as possible and check out the Aquarium and various other tourist-ey things!! :)
